About Trip
Yakawa Kang peak (6482m) is located to the Annapurna circuit and has been one of the least known among the tourists. However, it is one of most demanded peak among the tourists who come in contact with Budget Adventure Treks Expeditions, as it is one of superb trails that provide majestic scenes of various mountains lying around the Mustang region, Mt. Manaslu, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri to name a few and the constant variety of landscapes ranging from sub-tropical through alpine to an arid semi-desert akin to Tibet. The trail leads through many Budhhists Monasteries and Hindu temples in Mustang. The unique culture of Thakali, Magar, Gurung and Mustang tribes and their hospitality enchants everyone, moreover, the flora and fauna, unique landscape and geography and culture that provide the fondest experience to any tourists who come to Nepal. The trail begins from Pokhara and continues through Jomsom, Muktinath and finally to Thorang pass and Yakawa Kang Peak, after making summit to this peak, the trail returns from the same route.
