Ramdung Go trekking in Rolwaling region is yet unspoiled trekking trail, located in the eastern part of Nepal. The trekking to the region provides an experience to the remoteness of this region and the romantic mountain views, diverse flora and fauna and rich local cultures. Trekking in the Ramdung Go Rolwaling region is one of the best trekking trails in Nepal, as tourists can explore the majestic mountain views and beautiful waterfalls, Tso Rolpa Lake, monasteries and landscapes, as the trekking route leads through the remote and beautiful picturesque Sherpa, Tamang and Chhetri village and through the dense, gloomy primeval forest and over broad bridge with wonderful views. This trekking offers you the marvelous vista of the snowcapped mountains including Gauri Shankar, Melungtse and Tashi Peak. Not only the mountain views, the trip also give you an opportunity to observe the local culture, custom and lifestyle. As most of the part of this trek inhabited by Sherpa community, you can have great chance to see their way of life and tradition.

Ramdung Go TrekkingThe trekking to Ramdung Go begins from Dolakha, which is some six-hour drive from Kathmandu by bus and our trekking heads up to Jagat via Singhati, then we reach Simigaon, and Doldungla Phedi along the Rolwaling Khola we head up to Na valley and we camp for acclimatization, once we are ready then we visit to Tso Rolpa lake. Subsequently, we continue our trekking to Na and then Yalung-La base camp and the we ascend up to Ramdung Peak from where we have scenic views of other mountains lying from north to south and we return to Yalung base camp crossing yalung-la (5310m) and Tshoku and then we continue our trekking to Tshokum, Honobu, Sikpasur, Suri Dovan, Piguti and finally we reach at Dolakha and catch bus to return to Kathmandu.



Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01:Arrive Kathmandu, transfer to airport.

Day 02:In Kathmandu- free day, sort out permit & equipment

Day 03:Drive from Kathmandu Gonghar and Trek to Simigaon, stay overnight at tented camp

Day 04:Trek from Simigaon to Dokhang 2791m/6-7hours, stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 05:Trek from Dokhang to Beding 3690m/5-6hours, stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 06:Exploration Day, stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 07:Trek from Beding to Na 4180m/5-6hours, stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 08:Trek from Na to Camp I (Base Camp) 5000m/5-6hours, stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 09:Trek from Camp I to High Camp (Ramding La) 5665m/4-5hours, stay overnight at tented camp

Day 10:Climb to Summit (Ramgung Go Peak 5930m) and back to Tsho Rolpa Lake 4540m/7-8hours, stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 11:Trek from Tsho Rolpa Lake to Beding 3690m/6-7hours, stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 12:Trek from Beding to Daldung La 3976m/7-8hours, stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 13:Trek from Daldung La to Manthali 1070m/6-7hours, stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 14:Drive back to Kathmandu 8-9 hours and transfer to Hotel.

Day 15:Free Day for Shopping in Kathmandu and stay overnight in Hotel.

Day 16:Final Departure to International Airport.
