Lo Manthang short trek is mostly designed for them who do not have long time but want to explore the mysterious place. Since Lo Manthang La region is one of the restricting area for travel, it is awaiting to explore much. The trek in Lo-Manthang region is all about hiking through almost treeless barren landscape and a barren moonscape of eroded sandstone pillars and discontinuous moraine terraces, which together present a colorful mosaic made up principally of earthen reds, yellows and brown color mosaic.
Lo- Manthang Short TrekkingThe trekking to Lo Manthang area can either be shorten or extended to the long days as per the demands of the tourists. However the route to the area is the same. The trekking to the region begins across the foothills of the Himalayas from Pokhara, to the there, we take either flight or bus from Kathmandu. We pass through the small villages, terraced hillsides, rhododendron and bamboo forests, ascending to Ghorapani and Poon Hill for splendid dawn views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. At Tatopani--famous for its hot springs, we enter the spectacular Kali Gandaki river valley, the deepest gorge in the world. Similarly, through the Kagbeni route, we pass Chaile, Ghiling, Ghami, vie Lokeghar Gumba and finally we reach at Drakmar and then Lomanthang and making a short excursion to the area, we return to the same route and get Ghami, and then we pass Chosang and finally we come down to Jomsom and then we catch plane to Pokhara and then we either fly back to Kathmandu or catch bus.

Day 03:Kathmandu to Pokhara by flight.
Day 04:Pokhara to Jomsom by flight and trek to Kagbeni (2780m)
Day 05:Kagbeni to Chhuksang (2920m) by trek.
Day 06:Chhuksang to Samar (3290m) by trek.
Day 07:Samar to Geling (3440m) by trek.
Day 08:Geling to Ghami (3460m) by trek.
Day 09:Ghsmi to Charang (3490m) by trek.
Day 10:Charang to Lo- manthing (3730m) by trek
Day 11:Free day at Lo-Manthang
Day 12:Lo-Manthang to Lo- Gekar by trek
Day 13:Lo-Gekar to Ghami (3460m) by trek
Day 14:Ghami to Chhuksang (2920m) by trek.
Day 15:Chhuksang to Jomsom by trek.
Day 16:Jomsom to kathmandu via Pokhara by flight.
Day 17:Departure to Home/Next destination
