Lhotse Expedition
About Trip
Mt. Lhotse (8516m) is the fourth highest mountain in the world. It is located at the southern part of Mt. Everest. The perfect seasons are considered for expeditions on the Mt. Lhotse expedition is April, May and late September and October. The Swiss teams were said to be the first to expedite the Mt. Lhotse in 1956 who had expedition from the west face. Similarly, the Czech tem had expedition later on from south face in 1984. The Mt. Lhotse expedition begins with the flight to Lukla and following classis Everest base camp trekking route, the base camp is set up at Everest Base camp and rest for acclimatization and wait for the favorable day for its summit. Once ready to summit with every aspect, we then make summit.
Day to Day Itinerary
Day 01:Arrive Kathmandu, transfer to airport.
Day 02:In Kathmandu- free day, sort out permit & equipment
Day 03:Expedition briefing in Department of Tourism
Day 04:Transfer to airport, depart Kathmandu
Day 05:Fly to Lukla & trek to Phakding -Lodge
Day 06:Phakding - Namche - Lodge
Day 07:Rest day Namche Bazaar - Lodge
Day 08:Thyanboche – Pheriche - Lodge
Day 09:Pheriche – Lobuche - Lodge
Day 10:Lobuche to Lhotse Base camp
Day 11-44:Climbing Lhotse 8516m
Day 45:Base Camp Preparation - Lodge
Day 46:Base camp – Pheriche - Lodge
Day 47:Periche - Namche - lodge
Day 48:Namche - Lukla - lodge
Day 49:Fly to Kathmandu & transfer to hotel
Day 50:Transfer to airport for final departure
