Mt. Kanchenjunga (8,586m) is the third highest mountain in the world. It is located between Sikkim (India) and Nepal border. The Mt. Kangchenjunga is also called Kangche Dzo-nga, Kachedzonga, and Kangchanfanga in local dialect meaningfive treasures of the snow. Mt. Kanchenjunga has altogether five peaks, of which, the main peak has the height of 8,586 m. It was first climbed by a British expedition led by Charles Evans.
