Ghandruk Village TrekkingThis trek starts from Bire Thanti after 2 hours drive from Pokhara by public bus or by private vehicle. The most attractive part of this trek is to explore the Ghandruk Village where lots of Gurungs are inhibited The trek will go up to 1951 meters maximum and the trek can be organized 3 to 4 days This short trek offers you a magnificent views of annapurna range as well as massive dhaulagiri. The gurung community has many festivals so, its wise to check festival occasion before booking the trip.
Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu
Day 02:Kathmandu to Pokhara.
Day 03:Drive to Nayapul (1010m/1.5 hours) and trek to Tikhedunga. (1570m/3.5hours.)
Day 04:Trek to Ghorepani (2860meters/5 hours.)
Day 05:Hike up to Poon Hill (3210m/1.5 hours) and trek to Tadapani. (2660m/4 hours.)
Day 06:Trek to Ghandruk. (1940m/4hours.)
Day 07:Trek to Kimche (1010m/1 hours) and drive to Pokhara. (850m/2.5 hours).
Day 08:Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist mini bus that takes about seven hours.

Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu Transfer to Hotel and prepare for the next day's Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking
Day 02Kathmandu to Pokhara. Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.) takes about six hours. You depart for the six hours drive to Pokhara (915m,), 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu. Pokhara is tourist's paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with mountains. You can observe views to the north across the hills and Phewa Tal (lake) to the white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. You can also fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara which takes about 25 minutes.
Day 03Drive to Nayapul (1010m/1.5 hours) and trek to Tikhedunga. (1570m/3.5hours.) After our breakfast, we take an early morning drive to Nayapul and the starting point of our trek. We follow the River Bhurungdi east, passing lowland rice fields, local villages and a small waterfall. We reach Tikhedunga and our teahouse for the night.
Day 04Trek to Ghorepani (2860meters/5 hours.) A strenuous day today as we climb 3300 stone steps to Ulleri, from here we will have magnificent views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli, later in the trek we will also see Fishtail Mountain so get your cameras at the ready! After you have conquered the thousands of steps, the trail becomes easier as we pass Banthati and walk through the rhododendron forest. Overnight at teahouse.
Day 05Hike up to Poon Hill (3210m/1.5 hours) and trek to Tadapani. (2660m/4 hours.) An early morning hike to the top of Poonhill will reward you with spectacular sunrise views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. Take time here to soak up the tranquil atmosphere and make sure to take plenty of photos for everlasting memories of this idyllic place. After breakfast we descend to Tadapani through pine and rhododendron forests. Overnight in teahouse.
Day 06Trek to Ghandruk. (1940m/4hours.) We start the day on flat ground to Bhaisi Kharka before a steep descent to Ghandruk. Ghandruk offers sensational views of Fishtail Mountain, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Annapurna South and Himchuli. Even more photo opportunities for you to capture these graceful giants. While you are staying in Ghundruk, a trip to the local monastery and Gurung meseum are well worth a visit.
Day 07Trek to Kimche (1010m/1 hours) and drive to Pokhara. (850m/2.5 hours). A gentle descent back to Kimche following the Modi River and a short drive to Pokhara. Another night in a hotel in this colorful, lakeside town. If you wish to stay any extra nights here to visit the peace pagoda, take a boat out on the lake or just to relax in the many restaurants and cafes, then we can arrange this for you.
Day 08Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist mini bus that takes about seven hours. While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, you head up to Damauli, Dumre, Muglin and Kurintar where the Nepal's first Cable car is operated to reach to Manakamana Temple. En route, you can enjoy the mountain views, green sceneries, rice terrace fields, vegetable fields and people engaged in their daily life activities. From Naubishe you climb up to Thankot, the gateway to capital city. You can also fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu which takes approximately 25 minutes.
